This is my favorite site for completing free offers and getting paid cash fast into my PayPal.

But basically you sign up for free, spend 20-30 minutes completing some free offers (visiting sites, subscribing to free newsletters, playing games, etc), then cash out.

The cool thing about this site is that there is no minimum requirement for cashing out. So, you can get paid even if you have 5 cents in your account.

That said, if you spend 20 minuets or so on this site, I am sure you can easily make $10. The best part is that they pay via PayPal within hours.

The Nielsen company is a reputed market research firm that has been around for ages. Nielsen Homescan is a division in the company that focuses on consumer purchases.

Once you become a member, they’ll send you a scanner.

Whenever you grocery shop, simply scan the barcodes on the back of each item. Nielsen uses this data to gauge consumer activity when it comes to grocery shopping.

What you get for doing that?

Well, you earn points for scanning each item. You can then turn those points into great rewards such as toys, electronics, jewelry, household items, and so on.

8. Get a Cashback Credit Card

Who wouldn’t want to make money with credit cards! This is a no brainer to me. Cashback credit cards work the same way as any other credit card, except you earn money whenever you use them.

The money is usually paid to you in one big lump sum at the end of the year. Although some companies do pay you this money monthly.

The best cash back credit cards pay you up to 5% cash back for the first few months and then it goes down to 1.25% on every purchase you make.

For example, with the American Express Platinum Cashback card, spending $500 a month earns you around $130 in the first year. Sure, $130 doesn’t sound like much, but if you are going to make those purchases anyway, you may as well use a cashback card to get some money back.


9. Get Paid to Try Apps

Elusive Stars is a company where app developers use to test new app ideas before spending hundreds of thousands of dollars developing it.

As an app tester, your job is simply to install the app, play with it for a few days (or weeks, depending on what the developer wants), and get paid. That’s it!

Here is how it works:

1. Craigslist: I’m sure you’ve heard of Craigslist.org before. I LOVE it. You would be amazed at how easy it is to sell some of your old and un-needed stuff on here! At first, I went through the garage, and pulled out a bunch of stuff I knew we wouldn’t ever use, listed ‘em up in a quick couple of ad’s, and made $100! Here are a few tips -

• Be safe and smart. If you live alone, don’t list your phone number or address, just let them email you. Then you can ask for THEIR number, block yours, and give them a call. Tell them you’ll meet them somewhere to drop the item off.
• Bundle things into packages. You might not get a lot of response listing baby clothes piece by piece, but if you sell them by the bag, or as 10 baby pajama’s, Dress with shoes and matching accessories, one bag of play clothes, etc, they sell faster and at higher prices.
• Post pics! People love to see what you have before coming all the way to meet you. Make sure that they’re clear and show the item well enough to answer any questions someone might have.

2. Survey Sites:

Of course you know I’d mention these right? This is one of my favorite ways to earn extra money. Here’s a great system that I use to keep up, and do as many as possible with my really limited time: I set up a folder in my email {or you could set up one separate email address for surveys only}, and every day when I go through my email, I move all of the survey invites into that folder. When I have time, in the evenings or during naps, I go to my folder and start filling out as many surveys as I have time for. You’d be really surprised at how fast the money adds up! Here are my favorite sites that pay in cash -

• Nielsen Home Scan Panel: I haven’t been able to get accepted back into this one again {I quit for awhile after I had the baby, and didn’t realize how hard it would be to get back in!}, but you redeem points for some seriously amazing stuff, including PayPal. They send you a scanner, and you scan barcodes on everything you buy in your life – grocery store, the mall, online, whatever! And those get you more points too – and it’s fun. Do you stay home with a child or two already? Adding another one or two in the same age bracket isn’t too much more work. I’ve been thinking about doing this when Abby gets a little bit bigger. Do your friends always ask you to make them jewelry? Are your handmade knit scarves always in demand? Then open up an Etsy shop and start earning money from that hobby! A few great sites to read for advice are Handmadeology and Everything Etsy. Sign up for their newsletters– They both have amazing tips and ideas! Earn money by shopping online. Crazy? Nope – totally true. Read this great article from ABC News on how to find legit companies to work with on this. I’ve done call center type work in the past, and this is something that I’ve considered doing. A great way for a full-time income from home, just be really wary of scams. There are tons of legit sites, and I know a few bloggers that hire this type of help, just be really careful, since there are some bad guys out there. 1. Refinance your mortgage

Interest rates are at an all time low and many families are considering refinancing their home to save on monthly mortgage payments. Determine whether or not refinancing will save you money in the long term.

2. Switch providers

Don’t assume that your cable, phone and internet bills are locked into a slow but inexorable climb. Taking the first provider that comes along is a great way to waste money that can be saved elsewhere. Once you reach the terms of your contract, get on the phone or in an office and negotiate your bill down – or at least get a few perks thrown in for free.

3. Get rid of cable

Cable can rack up a hefty bill over a year, especially when you keep pay-per-view, premium channel, and miscellaneous costs in mind. Opt for online providers like Netflix or Hulu Plus that let you stream shows directly onto your computer, mobile device, or TV.

But there’s no reason to pay top dollar for actively managed mutual funds. Despite the prestige and high fees, active funds outperform the market only 24% of the time. You’re much better with an index fund, which has much lower fees and will probably get you a better return for your money. Stop paying to lose money!

You know how I just told you to invest? Paying off high-interest debt is the best investment you can make. It’s virtually impossible to get a guaranteed 12% return on your investments – unless you are getting rid of credit card debt.
